NBJMCC is going from strength to strength and has produced a number of world champions in both disciplines. We take a look at their achievements and where they started.
World Champion Darcy Ward
Darcy Stephen Ward (born 4 May 1992 in Nanango, Queensland) is an Australian former motorcycle speedway rider who won the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Australian Under-21 Championships as well as the 2009 and 2010 World Under-21 Championships. His career was ended by spinal injuries sustained in a crash in 2015.
Inspirational Women in Motorsport, Briony Hendrickson, inspiring on and off the track
Briony Hendrickson is a proud committee member of
NBJMCC. She is still actively involved in dirt track and competes at a National and State level. Briony’s passion for racing is very strong and mentors a lot of junior riders. Briony has been racing Dirt Track for 9 years with a lot of previous success in motocross. Briony is the current Australian Dirt Track and Track Champion, with an accumulation of 25 Titles to her name. Come and say hi to Bri, she will happily have a chat to all dirt bike enthusiasts.
Jarred Brook
Hailing from sunny Queensland, I started racing when I was 9 years old. After finding success in the junior ranks, I’ve worked to succeed as a senior – competing across Australian States and America in both Dirt Track, Long Track and Road racing.
