Become a Member

It's easy to become a member at NBJMCC and ride at the famous Mick Doohan Raceway!

  • You must be a member to participate in NBJMCC racing
  • Annual membership commences on 1st February and expires on 31 January of the following year.
  • Practice prices are cheaper for Members.
  • Join in our end of year celebrations and presentations.
  • It is a  great social opportunity to meet new lifelong friends.

STEP 1

Purchase a race licence issued by Motorcycling Australia

STEP 2

Have a bike and all required safety gear:

Helmet, Boots, Back protector, Body Armour, Transponder (demo/div1 riders do not need this to start)

STEP 3

To assist with getting juniors involved in motorcycle sport, Motorcycling Australia has created the “KickStart_May_2017.pdf” booklet. This will take parents and juniors step by step on how to get started.

(Note: Demo/Div1 riders do not need this to start)

STEP 4

Check out our calendar for race days in speedway or dirt track and register via going to this link Ridernet.

Our events are open to both junior and senior Motorcycling Australia licence holders.

Overview of age groups and how to get started

Kids aged 4-6

Can only participate in Recreational activities.

Recreational activities– Non-Competitive events. e.g. Practice Days, Trail Rides, Testing, Coaching and Demo class (at motocross events).

Juniors 7yrs-U16

How do I get involved in Competition Riding?

Step 1: Get in contact with us secretary@nbjmcc.com.au

Step 2: Download a Kick Start Book

Step 3: Contact our club and organise to attend a Kick Start Day

Step 4: Attend the Kick Start Day and complete Assessment 1 and Assessment 2 with the coach which can be found on page 24-28 of the Kick Start Booklet.

Step 5: Purchase a ‘Junior National’ or ‘Junior
Restricted’ licence through Ridernet. More information on the type of licence you require can be found on Ridernet

Step 6: Check out the Calendar for events and ride!

Seniors 16 and over

Competitive activities– allows you to compete in National, State, Club and Non-Competitive events. If you’re new to the sport, we highly recommend getting some coaching from an accredited coach to help you learn the ropes quickly and safely.
